The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Warriors Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of characters, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, demons, and sinister influences growing in strength within the city.

Note: Spoilers for the latest installment of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of characters who will split off from the main group to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team includes Teor (portrayed by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Considering a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

Hence, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Prelude, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.

What Defines the Combat Party

According to the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might seem unsuited, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the group has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal first encounter with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the story’s plot—used the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading the hidden lair, attacking the rogue, and taking all the enchanted items to dispose of.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each adventurer has a individual motive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, seeks revenge.
  • The adventurer has experience in the region and advises that it is a hostile location.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to kill the fighter and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as important members in the influential clan could enable the party access areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed the influential house and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The target is marked for death by the clan.

This results in them little choice but to head to Timmony in search of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we learn that the combat party will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Explorers and Schemers parties.

Viewers can expect finding out which players will be where in the season’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on next week.
